Been looking into this for a while, but this is the best I can answer. If you have more information on "isopropyl red" that would be great!
An isopropane group looks like >-, a 4 carbon molecule with a 3 carbon chain and a methyl group on the second carbon. Isopropyl alcohol or isopropanol looks like this >-OH, a 3 carbon chain with an -OH group on the second carbon. Any isopropyl group looks like this >-R, a 3 carbon chain with the rest of the molecule attached to the second carbon.
As for the 'red' part, I have not been able to find it. If you have more information about it I would be happy to help further!
