Dalton's Law of Partial Pressures says if you add up all the partial pressures, you get the total pressure. So all you have to do is add the 1054 mmHg of He to the 5259 mmHg of Ar to get 6313 mmHg total pressure.
Well, that's not quite all: they wanted pressure in atmospheres. So either find the conversion factor in your text or Google "convert mmHg to Atm" and find that 1 mmHg is 0.00131579 atm. Make a conversion factor:
6313 mmHg * 0.00131579 atm == 6313 * 0.00131579 atm = 8.307 atm
