HELP WITH BOYLES LAW PLS

Question

Barium gas exerts a pressure of 5 alm when it fills a container the size of 12 m^3. Whats is the size of the container if it has a pressure of 100 kPa?

Boyles Law is pretty simple:

P₁ = 5 atm

V₁ = 12 m³

P₂ = 100 kPa

The only issue is that P₂ is given in a different unit than P₁ (kPa vs atm). You can convert either one but I'll convert 100 kPa to atm:

1 atm = 101.325 kPa (you can look this conversion factor up in a book or google it)

Therefore using

P₁V₁ = P₂V₂

V₂ = (P₁)(V₁)/(P₂)

V₂ = (5)(12)/(0.9869) = 61 m³
