Derivaties question. Can someone walk me through this question? I need help

The curve with the equation y^2=(x^3) + 3x^2 is called the Tshirnhausen cubic. Find the equation of the tangent to this curve at a point (1,-2).

From what I know already I believe I'm supposed to find the derivative of the equation, but then do substitute in numbers?
