This calculation involves the molarity equation M = mol/L.
1.80 M means 1.80 mol/L
What we need to do is look at the equation to see what we have that we can use.
We have a mass and we have molarity, M. so not much that matches the formula. However, we can convert the mass to moles by using the molar mass of the KOH.
Mass/molar mass = moles
65.6 g x 1mole/56.11 g = 1.17 moles of KOH
Now, we have moles and molarity. If we rearrange the equation, volume (in L) = moles/M
1.17 moles x 1 L/1.80 mol =0.650 L
To convert L to mL --------- 0.65 L x 1000 mL/1 L = 650. mL
