Molarity is mol/L.
So you would need to get the moles of Vitamin-C,.for 1 gram of the molecule we can say. Then we need this amount of mLs expressed in Liters.
Vitamin C is also Ascorbic Acid and it's chemical formula is:
C6H8O6
Vitamin C atomic weight:.
Cx12.01 x 6 = 72.06
Hx 1.01 x 8 = 8.08
Ox 16.00 x 6 = 96.00
Total:. 176.14g/mol.
So 1gram of Vitamin-C/Ascorbic Acid:
1g. x 1mol/176.14g. grams cancel top to bottom and you will have moles at:
0.005677 moles
Now take mL to liters1000 mL= 1L
258.8mL x 1L/1000mL= 0.2588 L
Molarity = mol/L. = 0.005677/0.2588 = 0.0219 mol/L for 1gram of Ascorbic Acid/Vitamin C.
