Multiply the change in degrees C by the mass of the water. There's two facts you need to know:
- 1 calorie can raise 1 g of water by 1 degree C. So, 4 g of water will need 4 calories per degree C increased.
- To form convert water to vapor, the temperature must reach 100 C. So, the temperature needs to be raised 59 degrees C.
