Usually, for AP or College Chemistry, you can only have r =- k, r = -kC, and r=-kC2 for 0th, 1st, and 2nd order
reactions. Where r is the rate of C change with time (dC/dt) and C is a reactant.
The integrated Laws are C = -kt + C0 C = C0e-kt and 1/C = 1/C0 + kt
So you plot t vs C - if you get a line → 0th order
you plot t vs. lnC - line 1st order
you plot t vs 1/C - line 2nd order
You can use Excel, TI83+, Logger pro, or some online plotting utility to plot.
