The slope or gradient can be found by using the
formula:
m= y2-y1/x2-x1
Given (6, 5) and (8, 6)
x1=6,x2= 8 and y1=5,y2=6
Put in formula
m = 6-5/8-6
m = 1/2
Hence, the gradient of the straight line joining (6, 5) and (8, 6) will be 1/2.
