It sounds as if you are being asked to comment on a specific procedure. Without knowing the details of the procedure it's impossible to just guess what could be made clearer, or done with a better technique, and so on. Rather than try to type in a lengthy procedure in one piece, which is frought with peril of hitting a key which will erase it all (Thanks, Wyzant!), why don't you submit it as a series of questions each incorporating a smaller bit. Then a skilled chemist may be able to give you some tips on what could be improved, in various ways, in the total procedure. I'll scan Ask-an-Expert every few days, and look for a question header: "Procedure Piece #(1) Question: How do I ..."
