There are a number of ways you could graph this line on a slope. One way is on a graph. Using the graph go to the point (-4,-7). Then since you know that the slope is two, you go up two and to the right one. As slope is equal to rise/run. Wherever you land will become your next point. When you have these two points, connect them with a straight line.
Another way to do this is with the point slope formula. Point slope formula is y-y1=m(x-x1).
We know that x1=-4, y1=-7, and m=2. So we just need to plug in the answers. We then get:
y--7=2(x--4)
y+7=2(x+4)
y+7=2x+8
y=2x+1
y=2x+1 is the formula which you can use to graph the function as well! You would do this by using the y-intercept which is 1 and the slope. You would go to the point (0,1) and go up two and the right one.
