Hello Lutumika!
The pH of a solution is the -log of the hydrogen ion concentration ([H+]).
Since we know that the pH = 11.25 and the that pH is the - log [H+]
From this we can solve:
pH = 11.25
11.25 = -log [H+]
-11.25 = log [H+]
10-11.25 = [H+]
Therefore, the hydrogen ion concentration ([H+]) = 5.6 x10^-12 M (two significant figures due to log rules)
Hope this helps!
