The slope of the line y = 2x -3 is 2.
The slope of the line perpendicular to that line is -1/2
since line goes through point (-5,2), equation in point-slope form is:
y-2 = -1/2 ( x + 5)
The slope of the line parallel to that line is 2
so equation in point slope form is:
y-2 = 2 (x + 5)
