Find the vertex of y=g(x)

The graph y=g(x) is a translation of y=f(x) right 5 units and down 3 units. Find the vertex of graph of y=g(x)

Philip P.

The translation is g(x) = f(x-5) - 3. So the vertex of g(x) is 5 units to the right and 3 units down from the vertex of f(x). But what is f(x)?
