Actually, I believe you might have written the 2nd equation incorrectly as there is No Reaction between silver nitrate & nitric acid. As for the 1st reaction, you have an incorrect Full Ionic Reaction. Ammonium chloride & sodium hydroxide have only two ionic species each (which is the case of ALL ionic compounds.) So the Full equation is simply NH4+(aq) + Cl-(aq) + Na+(aq) + OH-(aq) → which yield the exact same species because no precipitates, gases, or liquids are formed. Hence, everything cancels out & no net ionic equation exists!

1.Full Equation: NH4Cl (aq) + NaOH (aq) ----> NaCl (aq) + NH4NO3
Full Ionic Equation: N3- + H4+ + Cl- + Na+ +OH- ----> Na+ + Cl- +N3- + H4- + NO3-
Net Ionic Equation: OH- ----> NO3- ?
2.Full equation: HNO3 + AgNO3 ----> AgNO2 + HNO4
Full Ionic Equation: H+ + NO3- + Ag+ + NO3- -----> Ag+ +NO2- + H+ + NO4-
Net ionic equation: Not reactive ?
Where am I going wrong with the Net ionic equation?
