I think that “inundated” means to be overwhelmed with too much to do. I can figure this out by looking at the details in this paragraph. The person lists the examples of everything they need to do. It’s a very long list and makes me feel a bit overwhelmed just reading it. Therefore, I think the person who is inundated is feeling very overwhelmed!

Inundated means to be "overwhelmed by".
Hope this helps!
I resisted looking in the dictionary for this one so I will say - Overwhelmed

Hi! You can see a long list of 'things to do' when reading the second sentence. That gives you a contextual clue as to what inundated might mean - overloaded, swamped, etc. Another way is to understand the etymology of vocabulary words. Many of our English words have Latin origins. If you know that "unda" or "onda" means wave, flooded, overflowing the banks - then you can imagine being flooded under a wave of homework like you would be if a wave crashed over you at the beach.01/20/23
