X = 800/70 = 80/7 = 11 437 weeks until the 70 employees use up what had been 10 weeks supply

similar to a distance formula: d=rt where 10 and X are time t, with 80 and 70 as r, and d remaining fixed

or look at it as an inverse relationship

80 =k/10

k= 800

70=k/x = 800/x

70x = 800

x = 800/70 = 11 3/7 3/7 of a week is 3 days

x = 11 weeks and 3 days
