First we factor

 

[(y²(y - 7)) / (3(y + 2))] * [(6(y + 2)) / (y(y - 7))]

 

 

Cancelling out terms, we obtain

factoring the numerators and the denominators in the problem...

[y²(y-7)/3(y+2)]*[6(y+2)/y(y-7)]

first cancel the 2 (y-7)s

[y²/3(y+2)]*[6(y+2)/y]

now cancel the 2 (y+2)s

(y²/3)*(6/y)

now cancel the y with the y²

(y/3)*(6)

now cancel the 3 with the 6

2y is the final answer

you could have canceled more than one term at a time but just to make sure you understood it I did it 1 term at a time
