Charles' Law states that volume and temperature (in Kelvin) are directly proportional for a gas, mathematically written as V1/T1 = V2/T2
Scenario 1: 150 mL at 36ºC
- V1 = 150 mL
- T1 = 36 + 273 = 309 K
Scenario 2: __ mL at 49ºC
- V1 = __ mL
- T1 = 49 + 273 = 322 K
V1/T1 = V2/T2
150 mL / 309 K = V2 / 322 K
V2 = 160 mL
