Formulae used for solving above problems of pH are,
pH = - log[H^+]
pOH = - log[OH^-]
pH + pOH = 14
Thus, by using these formula we can calculate pH, pOH, conc. of hydrogen ions, concentration of hydroxyl ions and acidic/Basic behavior of solution.
If, pH < 7 then solution is acidic.
If, pH > 7 then solution is basic.
If, pH = 7 then solution is neutral.
1) pH = 10.63, [H3O^+] = 2.344 ×10^-11M, pOH = 3.37, [OH^-] = 4.266 ×10^-4M, Basic
2) pH = 8.46, [H3O^+] = 3.47×10^-9 M, pOH = 5.54, [OH^-] = 2.884×10^-6M, Basic.
3) pH = 10.50, [H3O^+] = 3.162×10^-11M, pOH = 3.50, [OH^-] = 3.162×10^-4M, Basic
4) pH = 7.93, [H3O^+] = 1.175×10^-8M, pOH = 6.07, [OH^-] = 8.53×10^-7M, Basic.
5) pH = 7.04, [H3O^+] = 9.22×10^-8 M, pOH = 6.96, [OH^-] = 1.096×10^-7M, Neutral
