A + 4S = 73 subtract 2nd equation from the 1st to eliminate one variable
8A = 104 divide both sides by 8
A = 104/8 = $13 for an adult ticket
4S = 73=13 = 60
S = 60/4 = $15 for a student ticket
(strange. Usually adult tickets are priced higher, as the adults have higher income. Standard price discrimination. although the students are most likely having their tickets paid by their parents, so that works both ways. Maybe you can squeeze more money out of the parents by charging their children a higher price)
