What is the Molarity of an NaCl solution made by mixing 2.5 moles of NaCl and dissolving it to make 500 mL of solution.
The key with these questions is to figure out what you have and what you want. Here, we have moles and volume and we want molarity (M). This means we have to use the dilution equation below.
