what's 01.5% as a fraction in simplest form?

I'm not sure how to do, So it'd be nice if you'd tell me how to do it, and give me the answer so I can do the rest similar to this.

Hey George -- here's a "play-by-play" ... get rid of % ==> 1.5/100 ... get rid of decimal ==> 15/1000 ... cut both num/denom by 5 ==> 3/200 ... we're done since %'s and decimals are based on 10 -- can cut only by 2 and 5 ... Regards, sir  :)

Percent means "per 100" so 1.5% is 1.5 per 100 or (1.5)/100. To get a fraction we want a whole number for both numerator and denominator.

Multiply by 2/2 (another way of multiplying by 1) :      (1.5)*2/100(2) equals 3/200.
