How do i solve this? no units needed

When a sample of 95.01 g NH4NO3 dissolves in 56.26 g of water, the temperature changes from 27.33 C to 7.85 C. Calculate the heat flow (Q) with respect to the water in calories. (write answer to hundredths place)

Since heat left the water, meaning an endothermic process, then shouldn't the sign of q be positive?

Hi, J.R.S. - Sorry, I didn't see your comment until just now. I may have this wrong, but the refernce point is the water, and it lost heat. Wouldn't the situation be exothermic for the water, endothermic for the NH4NO3? A bit confusing for me. Thanks.
