Movement toward integration

Question

In the wake of the Brown v. Board of Education decision (1995) Black Americans was faced with the daunting task of integrating American schools. You are being assigned the task of deciding if the movement toward integration was a positive or negative force in the future of Black education. Put simply; should Black parents/children be excited or worried about this newfound “opportunity” advising President Abraham Lincoln about the plight of Blacks--- what do they want/need as well as what the nation should do on their behalf.

Brown was decided in a numbingly derogatory way, by testing children with black and white dolls!! It should have stated that all men are created equal and so the law can do nothing to infringe on this God-given equality.

If you are Black beware of some using your reasoning to JUSTIFY racism. As Clarence Thomas said:

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas defended all-black schools ..., saying one cannot assume something is “inferior” because it is “predominantly one group or another.”

“My high school was not inferior. My neighborhood was not inferior. My church was not inferior. My family was not inferior. I have never believed it, and I never will,” 

So integration should not be an excuse to desert justified all Black gatherings.
