CaSO4 + 2 NaF --> Na2SO4 + CaF2
Create a conversion factor using the coefficients of the balanced equation. As we are looking for
moles if NaF to get CaF2, the conversion factor is 2 NaF / 1 CaF2. Always put the item you are trying to calculate in the numerator.
Now multiply the mole ratio by the number of moles of CaF2
2 NaF / 1 CaF2 x 67.4 moles CaF2 = 134.8 moles.
The equation tells you that you need 2 moles of NaF for every mole of CaF2 produced.
