Write the balanced decomposition reaction of CO2.
CO2 (g) → C (s) + O2 (g)
Use stoichiometry to convert g of CO2 to mol of O2 by first converting g of CO2 to mol of CO2 using its MW followed by using the mole ratio of CO2 to O2 from the balanced reaction (1:1) to calculate mol of O2.
67 g CO2 x (1 mol CO2 / 44 g CO2) x (1 mol O2 / 1 mol CO2) = 1.5 mol O2
