From the ideal gas law, P2 V2 /P1 V1 = n2 T2 /n1 T1 which in this case rearranges to V2 = n2 T2 P1 V1 /n1 T1 P2 = (3.4 mol)(100 +273K)(1.5 atm)(1.0 L) / [(2.3 mol)(25 +273K)(6.0 atm)] = 0.46 L.
