2 K + Cl2 ---> 2 KCl
The reaction is already balanced. If you start with 10.0 moles K, use the molar ratio to find the moles of KCl. The coefficient of K is 2, and of KCl is also 2.
10.0 mol K x 2 mol K = 10.0 mol KCl
2 mol KCl
The second question is solved the same way, except you start with 4.80 mol Na2O, and the coefficients
Na2O + H2O ---> 2 NaOH
This reaction is also balanced for you, so there is 1 mole of Na2O for every 2 moles of NaOH. Use this ratio to solve.
