Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
4T + 15C = 904.6
2T+4C = 549.9 multiply by 2 to get
4T + 8C = 1099.8 then subtract this from the 1st equation to get
7C = -195.2
C=-27.89, they are giving the chairs away for free plus giving you $27.89 cash with each chair you haul away
T= 274.95 -2(-27.89) = 274.95 -+55.78 = $330.73 per table
Tables are very expensive at $330.73, while chairs are cheaper than free, you get $27.89 cash with each one you take away
Maybe it's a buy a table and get free chairs with them, some package deal
Or else there may be a typo in the problem or it was miscopied.
But if it's accurately intended to be this way, and the problem is what is the cost of 1 table and 1 chair
If you "bought" one of each in a package deal then its net cost is 330.73-27.89 = $302.84
BUT my guess would be that odds are there's a typo in the problem somewhere
