- The probability that both numbers are greater than six if the same number can be chosen twice
are 7,8,9,or 3 numbers and because P( > 6) = 32/92 = 1/9
2.The probability that both numbers are odd numbers less than six if the same numbers cannot be chosen twice: odd numbers less 6 are 1, 3, 5 and because P(odd , less 6) = P(3,2)/P(9,2) = 6/72 = 1/12
3. The probability that both numbers are less than seven if the same number can be chosen twice
P( < 7) = 62/.92 = 4
4.The probability that both numbers are even numbers if the same numbers cannot be chosen twice
Even numbers are 2, 4, 6, 8 so 4 numbers. P(even) = P(4,2)/P(9,2) = 12/72 = 1/6
