We need to balance the chemical equation, as shown below:
C3H8 + 5O2 -> 3CO2 + 4H2O
For every mole of Propane that combusts in oxygen, 3 moles of Carbon Dioxide are produced (1:3 relationship)
Moles of Propane = Mass / Molar Mass -> 10.0 / 44 = 0.227 moles
Moles of Carbon Dioxide = 0.227 *3 = 0.681 moles
Mass of Carbon Dioxide = 0.681 * 44 = 29.964 grams
