Lewis formulas and pKa

Ethane has a pKa of approx. 50, while acetonitrile (CH3CN) has a pKa of approx. 25. Please provide details

(Also supported by Lewis formulas) an explanation of why this significant

difference!

pka= -log ka

ka of ethane from above equation comes out to be 10 raised to power 50 while for acetonitrile is 10 raised to power 25 hence difference between both is 10 raised to power 25 which is significant and you can draw the lewis acid structure (resonating if possible) and explain the difference and you will be awarded full marks for the same
