1)sin2x+sin4x/cos2x+cos4x=tan3x
both sins are over the cos
please show work seeing the problems worked out helps me understand where I went wrong when I first worked it out and I learn better by seeing the steps. goes for both problems I am not being graded on these I just want to see the steps so I can take notes
2)cos2(x/2)=secx+1/2secx

1) Use the sum formula: the numerator is 2 sin 3x cos x, the denominator is 2 cos 3x cos x...and I had to look up the sum formula!
2) Your notation is equivocal!
