The problem is:
The Ostwald process for manufacturing nitric acid involves the following reaction:
4NH3 + 5O2 = 4NO + 6H2O
Assume that 310 g of O2 will react with 175 g of NH3.
a. Determine the limiting reactant
b. Determine the theoretical yield of nitric oxide, NO, from the reaction.
c. If 197g of NO are produced, determine the percent yield of NO from the reaction.
