Bearings Problem Solving Question

I walk 10km on a true bearing of 170°T and then 25km on a true bearing of 329°T. If I then wish to walk back to my starting position, how far must I walk and in what direction?                                                                                                                                                           CF

i guess you know this rule b²=c²+a²-2ac cosB b²=10²+25²-2(10×25cos21) b²=100+625-2(233.59) b²=725-466.79 b²=258.21 b=√258.21 b=16km To get A, b/sinB=a/sinA 16/sin21=25/sinA 16sinA/16= 8.9592/16 SinA=0.55995 A=sin inverse 0.55995 A=34.1° To find C, 34+21+C=180°(sum of angles in a triangle) 55+C=180° C=180-55 C=125° Direction=N24°E
