I have provided these general tips to use to develop an essay or an outline for a paper.
Although Plato and Aristotle share some ideas, they also differ in some other aspects. For instance, the two philosophers believe in the Forms as architypes that are different from material objects. However, Plato believes that Forms exist in the world of Architypes as distinct from the world of matter.
Aristotle, on the other hand, conceives of Forms as eminent in the material objects. This explains his view of knowledge as abstracting ideas (patterns) from their objects. That is different from Plato, who view knowledge as remembering concepts from the previous life (reincarnation).
The two philosophers also differ in their views about political life (City, republic, philosopher king, etc.).
After viewing those differences, you might decide whether or not any of them influences your life.
