Which of the series below is ordered in ascending order?
A) Radius of: H-, H and H +
B) First ionization energy of: oxygen, fluorine and neon
C) The electronegativity of: chlorine, bromine and iodine
D) The electron affinity of: fluorine, oxygen, nitrogen
I'm confused, aren't A and B both in ascending order?

A is not in ascending order. If you have the same nucleus the ionic radius will increase as the charge becomes more negative. You have more electrons repelling each other without increasing the attraction from the nucleus. Therefore the series ordered by increasing radii is H+, H, H-
