I've been at this question for hours and I can't figure it out, PLEASE HELP!

A 380.5 N child and a 259.3 N child sit on either end of a 2.9 m long seesaw.

a) How far from the 380.5 N child should the pivot be placed to ensure rotational equilibrium? Disregard the mass of the seesaw. Answer in units of m.

b) Suppose a 330 N child sits 0.158 m from the 380.5 N child. How far from the pivot must a 301 N child sit to maintain rotational equilibrium? Answer in units of m.

Try drawing a diagram, before looking at the solution:

a) 380.5 * x = (2.9 - x) * 259.3

x = 1.175 m

b) Assuming the 380.5 and 259.3 N children are still at the same place and the pivot is at the same place as in the part a).

380.5 * 1.175 + 330 * 1.017 = 301 * x + 259.3 * 1.725

x = 1.114 m
