I love these questions because the words make up the equation!
The question is "What percent of 1.2 mg is 0.6 mg?"
What percentage = x%
"of" means multiplication
1.2mg = given information
0.6mg = given information
I'll use * as multiplication here
Put this together and you get: x% * 1.2mg = 0.6mg
Divide both side by 1.2mg and you'll get your x%! That's it! I'll give you a hint on your answer: It's a common percentage when you share something equally with a friend :)
