Here we are looking for the amount of solute (sugar) in the the solution of soda. The w/w means weight/weigh%.
We use the equation:
mass percent solute = mass of solute / mass of solution *100
So we take the weight of the sugar (solute) divided by the total weight of the soda (solution) and multiply by 100 for%
so you get the following equation:
23g of sugar/ 370g total mass of the soda *100
