Find the x-intercepts of the parabola with vertex (-5,13) and y-intercept (0,-12). Write your answer in this form: (x1,y1),(x2,y2). If necessary, round to the nearest hundredth.

-12-13 = a(x^2 + 10x + 25)

-25 = ax^2 +10ax + 25a

ax^2 +10a + 25a +25

25a +25 =-12 = y intercept

25a =-37

a =-37/25

y-13=(-37/25)(x+5)^2, x intercepts are when y=0

-13 (25) = -37x^2 - 370x -925

-37x^2 -370x -600=0

37x^2 + 370x + 600 =0

x = -2.04, 7.96 = x intercepts

(-2,04,0) and (-7.96,0) = x intercepts

x= about 2 and 8
