6x+2y =-30
2y = -6x-30
y =-3x -15
set them equal
-x=-3x -15
2x =-15
x =-15/2 = -7.5
y=-x = +7.5
the two lines intersect at (-7.5,7.5)
both are downward sloping lines. y=-x goes through the origin, downward at -45 degrees with the x axis. It has x and y intercepts of (0,0)
the 2nd line has y intercept (0,-15) and x intercept (-5,0) and has steeper slope, but also downward sloping
