119/29 x 3.4 = about $13.95
total miles divided by miles per gallon times price per gallon = total cost
You need 119/29 gallons to go 119 miles = about 4.1+ gallons (30x4=120) 4.1+ x 3.4 = 13.94+ a penny
After the Canadian oil pipeline gets shutdown and gas taxes go up, it might cost a lot more. Or if OPEC cuts back on production to drive gas prices up. Or a carbon tax. Still today you can get better than $3.40 per gallon, as low as $2.40 in many places. For lowest prices, drive across to Nogales Mexico and fill up.
