The first step to solve this problem is finding the molecular mass of sodium iodide, NaI. From the periodic tablet, we can find that the molecular mass of NaI is 150 g/mol. To find how many grams we have, we will simply multiply that molecular mass by the number of moles we have, 12.3 mol.
