Websites like Encyclopedia Britannica and Al Jazeera have a good outline of Kyrgyzstan, I'd recommend checking them out. I've given you a few points to get you started.
What is/are the main macroeconomic problems of your country? Use recent statistical information of your country to create a table that summarizes the macroeconomic indicators for the last five year for your country.
- Using the table that is created by you (with the source of the data) summarize the current economic picture of your country. (20p)
- Kyrgyzstan borders Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and China.
- Land: Mountainous borders. Lowlands equal 1/7 of total area but house most of its people. Naryn and Chu River. Landlocked, many deserts and plains.
- Industry: Traditionally farmers, late 20th century began producing machinery and light industrial products. Hydroelectric power supplies more than 3/4 country's power
- Agriculture: Ample water, use irrigation canals. Livestock raising. Cotton, fruit, wool and vegetables. Wool is most exportable product
- Manufacturing: Machinery and electronic components
- Trade: Russia, China and Kazakhstan
