I need help I'm like really horrible at math

Here is my question:

Joshua has a football card collection with 80 cards. Of the 80 cards, he gives 10% to his younger brother and sells ¼ on eBay. Then, he gives 5 cards to his friends. How many cards does Joshua have left? 

Answer 1

10% of 80 = 8

1/4 of 80 = 20

leaving 80-8-20 = 52

52-5 = 48 left

UNLESS maybe you meant 1/4 of what was left after 10% reduction

then 1/4 of 72 = 72/4 = 18

and

80-8-18 = 80-26 = 54

54-5 = 49 left

safe to say 48 or maybe 49 left
