Law of definite proportions basically says that a substance always has the same chemical formula.
So, if you double the amount of H2O2 decomposing, you double the amount of O2 that forms.
1 mol of H2O2 decomposes to form 1 mol H2O and 0.5 mol O2
Doubling it...
2 mol of H2O2 decomposes to form 2 mol H2O and 1 mol O2
This can be pretty confusing if you're not familiar with stoichiometry and math involving chemical equations.
