I know the mass of a given substance. I need to convert that mass to moles. What is the conversion factor I need to do that?

Matthew Z. is correct, but be aware that when one says "oxygen" we need to clarify whether it is in it's natural diatomic form, O2, or just a single oxygen atom. The molar mass of O2 is 32 (2*16) g/mol. Chemical equations would normally specify O2 as the reactant. The same is true for the other diatomic elements, such as chlorine, nitrogen, hydrogen, and others.
