The length of a rectangle is (x + 3) inches long, and the width is 3 inches. If the area is 45 square inches, Solve an equation to find the length of the rectangle

L=A/W = 45/3 = 15 inches = Length

L=15 = x+3 = x+W

x =15-3 = 12. Length = Width + 12 inches

Area = (W+12)W = 45

(3+12)(3) =45

15(3) =45
